“As a Texas resident, I urge the Texas Legislature and local governments to put our communities first–not corporate welfare–when approving data centers and passing related laws. AI data centers must benefit all Texans. We deserve protection from higher land and energy prices, water shortages, and noise/light pollution. We also have the right to know who is building them, what they are for, and what deals were made with local governments. Finally, Texans must be protected from AI’s harm to our children, American values, and our future.”
