Humans First Praises President Trump for Executive Order on Dangerous AI

(Washington, DC) – Today, President Donald J. Trump issued an Executive Order to vet potentially dangerous frontier artificial intelligence (AI) models before they are released. In response, Amy Kremer, Chair of Humans First, released the following statement:

“Under President Trump’s leadership, the United States has led the world through strength and wisdom, not recklessness, and this Executive Order would is a continuation of this. We thank President Trump for his bold leadership in taking the necessary first steps to protecting the American economy, military, and people from dangerous frontier AI systems.

Today is a win for the conservative movement and more generally for the forces of humanity and a loss for the big AI extremists who have been unwilling to accept any guardrails on the development of their dangerous technology.

President Trump has once again shown that you can promote American innovation without sacrificing American values.

Frontier AI systems are becoming increasingly powerful and could pose serious risks to cybersecurity, critical infrastructure, financial systems, election integrity, biosecurity, and even our military and national defense capabilities if deployed recklessly or without proper safeguards.

President Trump recognizes those threats and is acting to mitigate them. We thank him for his leadership and urge the members of Congress to follow his lead and act to make sure that innovation serves the American people, not the other way around. We cannot simply rely on the Big Tech extremists to voluntarily do what is right – it is clear at this point that the only thing they care about is money and power, not the American people.”
