We are pro-innovation, and do not support a national data center moratorium. But we support the fundamental right of Americans to protect their community, and fight for a fair deal, on their terms - whether that’s an end to corporate welfare, or no data center at all. Big AI don’t wants people to be informed about the risks of data centers on communities and the AIs being built in them. They want communities to not know the secretive tactics the Big AI companies use. They don’t want people to understand why data centers, if they are to be built at all, need to be built on the terms of affected citizens.
