Cathy Latham

Texas State Director

Cathy Latham is the Texas State Director for Humans First. She is a 5th generation Texan and a proud patriot. She was an educator with 35 years experience, primarily in Georgia, including winning the 2019 Georgia Economics Teacher of the Year award. 

She has held various roles in Republican politics over many years. She was the Coffee County GOP Chair, 1st Vice Chair of the 12th District, and Under 80K Caucus Chair. In 2020, she served as one of the Republican Electoral College Members, signing the alternate ballots certifying President Trump’s win of the election in Georgia. For this defense of the President and our Republic, she was indicted in 2023. President Trump pardoned Cathy when he returned to the Presidency in 2025. 

Cathy holds a Bachelor of Science in English and History from Baylor University and a Master’s in Education from Troy University, with a concentration in Government and Finance. These credentials fuel her advocacy for transparent, non-ideological education that prioritizes critical thinking, American history, and conservative values over “woke” or Marxist influences.
